We had another positive Board Meeting this evening!
I came into it feeling like the world was on my shoulders...
And our amazing church board ENCOURAGED their pastor!
I hear horror stories from other pastors regarding the "trials of the board!"
But my board always lifts me up and gives me NEW perspective.
Tonight they even preached my sermon back at me. Helping me to practice what I preach...
THANK YOU JESUS; I AM BLESSED!
At the end of service one Sunday morning a pastor asked for the board to meet him at the altar for a quick meeting...The board met the pastor there BUT someone else from the congregation came as well...The pastor apologized for the misunderstanding and told the individual this meeting was just for the board...The individual replied, "well, after that sermon I guess I'm just as bored as anybody else"...hee hee
