I had the privilege of dedicating Aiden Joshua Spencer to Jesus in this morning's Celebration Service...Here's a few thoughts from this morning's sermon...
Being an "Andrew" figure: John 1You're either a born inviter or it must be learned (introvert vs. extrovert)
3 simple practices for the Inviter:
1. show and tell
2. never grow weary of sharing your Jesus story
3. be yourself
canned doesn't work...stuttering is better when it's real
don't have to be a religious expert...world doesn't respond to that anyway
develop a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, to be used in Divine Appointments
rabbit trails: expectations can kill, invitations can heal AND welcoming guests well...
